Passenger Locator Form – Updated

2021-09-17

Dear friends and colleagues,

Last night I received the below and attached from the Department for Transport regarding changes to the Passenger Locator Form.  These are some significant and sensible changes that I believe will help your travellers.

As many of you may be aware, the front page or ‘summary page’ of the Passenger Locator Form (PLF) is being updated to better reflect the details carriers are asked to check at the border.

Following feedback from industry, among other changes, we have updated the PLF front page to:

  1. Clear signal whether a passenger is red, amber or green.
  2. Bold signalling of exemptions
  3. Present key information relating to PLF validity – including flight number, date of arrival and passport number.

Some mock examples of the new front pages are attached for reference.

These changes will be released from Thursday 24 June, and will affect all passenger PLFs from Sunday 27 June, due to passengers being able to complete the PLF up to 48 hours in advance.

Kind regards,

Mark.
