Introducing our Head of Groups, Meetings & Events


We are pleased to announce the newest member of our leadership team, Julie Sandford, who joins us to head up our Groups, Meetings & Events department.

Julie began her career in the travel industry 38 years ago and has spent over 23 years working in the Meetings & Events sector.

Over the years, Julie has been responsible for the project management, design, and delivery of a variety of events across the globe for a broad sector of industries including automotive, finance, insurance, and healthcare.

Her portfolio of events ranges from small to large scale conferences from 10 to 2000+ people, congresses, workshops, gala dinners, roadshows, networking events and incentive programmes for clients that have included Toyota, Proctor and Gamble, Simply Business, KPMG, Thorntons, and Rolls Royce.

She has a driving passion about delivering amazing events, and has achieved this through her global destination knowledge, strategic thinking, positive attitude, seamless planning, and a dedicated high-touch customer service.

Her creative mind is always seeking innovative and exciting ways to elevate the event journey and experience, to engage, inspire and motivate audiences.
